Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County, a special district created over 35 years ago by Palm Beach County voters, provides leadership, funding, services and research on behalf of the county’s children so they are born healthy, safe from abuse and neglect, ready to learn when they enter school, and have access to quality afterschool and summer programming.
COMMUNITY PLANNING AND PARTNERSHIPS OFFICER
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
The Community Planning and Partnerships Officer engages with the community, including organizations and residents to build partnerships, collaborates and explores pilot projects with others, and identifies learning opportunities to evolve our early childhood system of care. Key responsibilities for this positon include writing community plans and grant applications; collecting, exploring, presenting and using different types of data, particularly in ways that are meaningful and accessible to community groups and residents; negotiating and managing contracts; and participating in and leading conversations with community groups, with a particular interest in growing our connection to the Hispanic/Latinx community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Health, Human Services; Management, or related field supplemented by four (4) to six (6) years of progressively increasing responsibility in community engagement, team leadership skills, data collection and analysis, and the ability to thrive in a continually changing environment. Bilingual preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the minimum requirements listed.
